Mark Molloy ACT Ambulance Service
He has served for the past 13 years and is currently Acting General Manager (Education) while continuing his frontline role as an Intensive Care Paramedic based in Canberra. He responds to complex medical emergencies, providing advanced critical care in high-pressure situations.
Patrick Coffey ACT State Emergency Service
Patrick has been a dedicated volunteer for the past ten years and currently serves as Commander of the Gungahlin Unit. He leads storm, flood and all-hazard emergency response call-outs while overseeing volunteer training and maintaining the operational readiness of personnel and equipment. Patrick is recognised for his Service Above Self leadership.

David Tunbridge - ACT SES
In addition to being a volunteer firefighter since 1974, David has served for 3 decades with the ACT State Emergency Service.
Tammy Bennett ACT SES
Tammy Bennett is both a volunteer within the Tuggeranong unit and an Operations Manager for the ACT SES. She has deployed interstate on many occasions including the Hunter Valley and Grafton storms, Tropical Cyclone Debbie, the Black Summer bushfires and other NSW flooding events
In addition to being a volunteer firefighter since 1974, David has served for 3 decades with the ACT State Emergency Service.

Sharan has been a valued member of the AFP for 40 years – the last 21 in the Volunteers in Policing Program which she established. The program volunteers provide support to the police and to the community.

Jason Blair has been an ACT State Emergency Services member for 20 years. During this time, he has volunteered as a Trainer, Deputy Team Leader, Team Leader and Deputy Commander. He is a passionate member of the Service and spends much of his time mentoring and encouraging others as well as contributing ideas for positive changes and advancement of the Tuggeranong group.
Sharan has been a valued member of the AFP for 40 years – the last 21 in the Volunteers in Policing Program which she established. The program volunteers provide support to the police and to the community.

Loryn has been with ACT Policing for nearly 15 years. Recently she was recognised with the Commissioner’s Medal for Conspicuous Conduct for going above and beyond her regular duties. Loryn is a long-time member and Chair of her children’s school board. In her spare time, Loryn coaches a local basketball team and supports regional agricultural shows as a judge and steward
Joel Doble
From a very young age Joel has demonstrated service above self. He has been serving as a volunteer surf lifesaver with Batemans Bay Surf Lifesaving Club. In his current capacity as a volunteer Senior Firefighter with ACT Rural Fire Services he was deployed to the Orroral valley fire strike team and ACT’s COVID response team. Away from his core duty, Joel enjoys engaging with children, sharing his passion for emergency services

Before assuming the position of Chief Officer at the ACT Rural Fire Services (ACTRFS), Rohan spent 20+ years as a volunteer Firefighter. Post fire season, he devoted a significant amount of time in developing training sessions to deal with major fires, which has all culminated to a stronger and more resilient RFS.

Chris has been involved with the emergency services for 24 years and is currently working as Treasurer of the Hall Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade while also being an active volunteer Firefighter. Besides firefighting, he is a Venture Scout Leader and passionately shares his knowledge about abseiling, 4wding, canoeing and bushwalking.

He exemplified a service above self-attitude by delaying his retirement since his family committed to being foster carers for their granddaughter

He uses his skills much more broadly having over many years volunteered with organisations like Rural Fire Services, State Emergency Services and Scouting.

As a former commander and senior member of the Rivers Unit he provides mentoring and guidance to new members as well as both general and specialised training. He has volunteered for local and interstate deployment including in the Lockyer Valley floods in 2011.

Rob Thompson, a station officer a specialist in road accident, confined space and vertical rescue, has been noted for his conscientious discharge of his duties. He has also taken short-term secondments with the ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT State Emergency Service.

As a volunteer with the ACTSES since 2007, Sue is a very active operational member responding to storm and flood emergencies, land based search operations, and as a qualified air-observer.
